OSARCC is Oxfordshire's Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre. It was founded in 1979 as a collective of women, all volunteers, working to support women who had experienced rape and sexual abuse.
OSARCC mostly provide support to self-identifying women and non-binary individuals recorded female at birth, but their Advocacy service is open to survivors of all genders and the charity is working on expanding some of their other services.

Oxfordshire Mind is a local mental health charity. They have been campaigning for better mental health in Oxfordshire for over 50 years with a wide range of support services. 

They promote good mental health, through the provision of high quality services and campaigning for positive change. They value:

• Striving to make mental health services more human

• Working alongside people to help them realise their potential

• Raising awareness, promoting understanding and challenging stigma

• The importance of community and the benefits of mutual support

Jacari is a local charity that provides free 1:1 tuition for local children and young people aged 6-16 from migrant, asylum seeking and refugee backgrounds who speak English as an Additional Language. Our partner schools refer to us newly arrived pupils most in need of additional support. Volunteers offer support through 1:1 tuition to improve the confidence, language skills and aspirations. We also organise extra-curricular activities and trips for our pupils to facilitate community and solidarity. Most recently, we partnered with the Natural History Museum in Oxford to provide our pupils with an accessible and engaging afternoon at the museum. Looking to the future, we hope to be able to develop further opportunities for the local children and young people we support. 

The Gatehouse offers free support for adults aged 25+ who are homeless, vulnerably housed, on low income and/or looking for company and community.  The Gatehouse has been operating as a local drop in café for Oxford City homeless and the vulnerably housed for thirty years.

The Aims of the charity are: “To relieve poverty and hardship among homeless and needy people in or near the City of Oxford and, in particular, by the provision of a drop-in centre.”

This is achieved by welcoming the homeless and vulnerable and providing a place where companionship, dignity, and refreshment can be found in a warm, safe and therapeutic environment. All services offered by The Gatehouse to its Guests are provided free of charge.
