Oxford's modern global reputation is the result of a long history deeply entrenched in processes of British imperial expansion. This lecture provides an overview of the history of politics, power, and empire within the University of Oxford, highlighting how it's disciplines and departments are intimately associated with the legacy of empire. This talk has been researched and designed by academic researchers at the University to provide an overview of some complex local histories and their modern legacies. Content can be adapted to all ages and audiences.
